Undergraduate History students can choose General History Papers that provide a global approach (such as 'The Medieval World', 'General History IV' or 'The Global Twentieth Century', 'General History XIV', 'General History XIX') as well as specialized Further, Special, and Optional Papers that focus on, for example, 'China since 1900' or 'The Near East in the Age of Justinian and Muhammad 527 – c. 700'.
Approaches from Imperial and Global history are integrated into methodological courses such as Disciplines to History; students can also choose their topic for a final-year thesis.
