All are welcome to attend the Keynote Lecture by Timothy James LeCain on Friday 6 December, 5.30pm (History Faculty Lecture Theatre). He will be speaking on 'A Post-Anthropocentric Politics: Can Neo-Materialist Theory Provide Effective Solutions To the Problems of Global Mining?' 

This is the keynote of a Comparing the Copperbelt Project workshop, Extractive Industries and the Environment: Production, Pollution and Protest from a Global and Historical Perspective. Please note the workshop itself running 6-7 December is a closed workshop – enquiries to copperbelt@history.ox.ac.uk.
