This term's Global and Imperial History Research Seminar theme is 'Empires and Ecologies'. We look forward to papers from Robert Fletcher (Warwick), William Beinart (Oxford), Vinita Damodaran (Sussex), David Moon (York), Ruth Morgan (Monash), Peter Mitchell (Oxford) and Violette Pouillard (Ghent), as well as an extended seminar on 3 November on 'Mining and Environmental Change in African History' in conjunction with the Centre's 'Comparing the Copperbelt' project.
